McCandless makes an unusual decision to vacate the life that is expected of him. Identify his reasons for doing so. Are his reasons justified?  Conversely, is McCandless a fool for his decisions? Do you see the outcome as a tragedy or a triumph? Be sure to develop your argument well and choose an effective structure for your essay.
